Aquí les traigo un video bastante gracioso de una banda llamada Steel Panther, esta banda formada en el año 2001 canta un glam bastante cómico, en cuanto a lírica, videos musicales y actuaciones en vivo.

A mi parecer, más que un grupo para tomarse en serio, este es un grupo que parodia a los grupos de glam y heavy metal. (Algo parecido me imagino que quisieron hacer con Moderatto, fracasando estrepitosamente al crear un grupo bastante estúpido).

Acá les muestro el video de “DEATH TO ALL BUT METAL” con las letras para que se caguen de risa un poco.

El final con la comediante Sarah Silverman y el vocalista del grupo justamente da a entender la incapacidad de algunos de entender la filosofía del rock, de una manera bastante cómica.

Creo que este grupo trata de parodiar a la escena glam y heavy con sus momentos ridículos (la supuesta máštûrbáçìón del vocalista usando el micrófono y la cara del guitarrista asombrado, o la escena del bajista como modelo de pasarela) y al mismo tiempo manda a la mierda al resto del mundo.

Asi mismo muestra algunos estereotipos de metaleros (el marginado con los audifonos, el guitarrista abusivo queriendo golpear a un alumno, el supuesto satanismo en el metal con el cambio de voz del metalero marginado, el metalero que se acuesta con todas las mujeres, etc)

Un grupo para no tomarse el rock tan en serio, a veces puede ser bastante divertido.
