Robert Dimery, famoso escritor de libros y revistas especializadas y critico musical, en esta obra hace una recopilacion de los 1001 mejores discos (síƒÂ¬, lo leyeron bien: 1001 discos) de los ultimos 60 años, pasando por casi todos los géneros musicales e intíƒÂ¨rpretes.
No he comprado el libro, ni tampoco poseo los 1001 discos que se mencionaran a continuacion (pero por lo menos me precio de tener el 20% de esa recopilacion) sin embargo a vuelo de pájaro pude darme cuenta que no ha habido discriminacion de géneros ni subgéneros musicales…y luego al leerla detenidamente, la lista es muy buena salvo pocas excepciones, me imagino que algunos han de pensar igual que yo, otros serán mas radicales en sus opiniones, en fin, nunca va a haber conformidad para todo, ademas, creo que 1001 discos a pesar de que suena a bastante, nunca serán suficiente….
….y dado a que hemos dado por concluida una década (bien de a verga por cierto) y el 2012 esta aqui de la ceja al ojo para acabar con todo, mas vale que empecemos desde ya a conseguir este material (Wildchildren se reserva el derecho de no fomentar la pirateria, jojojoj) asi que tocaríƒÂ que cada uno haga su tarea… y si son afortunados y tienen esos 1001 discos y contando, pues los felicito, ahora pueden morir en paz…

Totalmente de acuerdo con la elección de discos de Depeche: Music for the Masses y Violator resumen la perfección de estos dioses. Y en cuanto a Radiohead, ¡quien no ha escuchado OK Computer, Amnesiac, Hail to the thief o Kid A no ha vivido! Como me decía mi amigo el colorado del desaparecido Audio & Video del Policentro: Radiohead es para oídos finos.
